NOVA Bulls Organization and Congresswoman Wexton Meet to Discuss Community Engagement

The NOVA Bulls Organization, a leading provider of youth and adult sports opportunities in Northern Virginia, met with Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton in Washington, DC. The meeting was arranged to discuss how the organization could become more involved in the community. Congresswoman Wexton, who represents Virginia’s 10th congressional district, expressed her appreciation for the work of the NOVA Bulls Organization and their commitment to providing young people with access to sports and educational opportunities. “I am proud of the work that the NOVA Bulls Organization are doing to empower our young people,” said Rep. Wexton. “By providing them with positive outlets for their energy and creativity, we are investing in their future success.”

The NOVA Bulls Organization is committed to giving back to its community by offering programs such as free sports clinics for underserved youth, mentoring initiatives, college preparedness workshops and scholarships for students pursuing higher education. The organization also offers employment opportunities for high school students looking for summer internships. During their discussion today, Congresswomen Wexton and representatives from the NOVA Bulls Organization discussed potential ways they could collaborate on furthering the mission of empowering local youth through athletics and education.

“We are always looking for ways to expand our reach and make a greater impact in our community," said Jeremy Coleman, Assistant Director of Basketball Operations of the NOVA Bulls Organization. "Meeting with Congresswoman Wexton gave us insight into what we can do as an organization to better serve our community and local youth." The meeting between NOVA Bulls Organization and Rep. Jennifer Wexton was an opportunity to explore creative solutions that will help create brighter futures for young people in Northern Virginia. The two parties left feeling energized about working together on future projects that will benefit local communities throughout the state.

The NOVA Bulls Organization is bipartisan and does not represent nor promote any local, state, or federal candidate. Our organization wants everyone in our communities to be supported and represented in our fight against gun violence, bullying, social responsibility, and mental health awareness.

We have reached out to representatives on both sides of the isles at the state and federal level to gain the support of the elected officials for our mission.
